Residency Requirements

The Florida Bright Futures Scholarship program is only available to 佛罗里达州居民s who have graduated from a Florida high school 和 are citizens or permanent residents of the United States. Florida residency 和 eligibility for the Florida Bright Futures Scholarship 和 Effective Access to Student Education (EASE) 拨款是基于 state law 和 administrative rules. 一般, students whose families have been living in Florida twelve (12) months prior to the start of the school year are considered residents. Bright Futures Academic Scholars

Eligible students receive approximately $6,360 (30 credits x $212/credit hour) per year. Eligible applicants must have a 3.5 high school GPA, a 1340 SAT or 29 ACT composite or a 96 CLT, 和 100 hours of community service.

Bright Futures Medallion Scholars

Eligible students receive approximately $4,770 (30 credits x $159/credit hour) per year. Eligible applicants must have a 3.0 high school GPA, a 1210 SAT or 25 ACT composite or an 84 CLT, 和 75 hours of community service.

Florida State Grants

All full-time undergraduate students who meet the Florida residency requirements are eligible to receive this financial assistance from the state.

Effective Access for Student Education (EASE)

All full-time undergraduate students who meet the Florida residency requirements are eligible to receive this financial assistance from the state. The award amount varies from year to year 和 is based on available state funds; however, the amount awarded for 2022-2023 is $2,000. The state legislature will determine the amount for each academic year.

Florida Student Assistance Grant (FSAG)

Grants are approximately $1,000 per year 和 are based on demonstrated financial need, as determined by the FAFSA application. 

Florida Prepaid College Plan
